Description

Freeze dryer is a specialized device used to remove moisture from samples by the process of freeze-drying (lyophilization). This is done by freezing the material and then reducing the surrounding pressure to allow the frozen water (ice) in the sample to sublimate directly from solid to vapor, bypassing the liquid state. Freeze-drying is widely used in laboratories for preserving biological materials, pharmaceuticals, food, and other heat-sensitive substances.
